I’m Still Free.
(The Architecture of Freedom)

by Jeremee Michael Tyler

I'm still free - even though you may not want me to be,
I'm still me, yet expanded by my experiences, in wisdom and deed,
For my efforts and my ethics I asked God to relieve,
Yet somehow, someway,
He never left me, though if i’m honest and a man of integrity as i so often claim myself to be…..

..There were many times — I have strayed away from Thee,
For the longest I felt strongest when my enemies flee,
Now I feel much stronger overall when i help them to see,
Though i hated many men, many of them for certain;
The world will never change if we remained the same person,

For to feed the fuel of hatred is to become those who told me I am inferior,
Our losses take place when we put more focus on building our exterior over our very own God-given: Temple’s interior!

You see...
This alone reveals to us, this fact, this truth shall not change,
It's possible to grow, while also remain the same;
On one end to uphold morals, on the other end disband disrespect,
The human being isn't truly free,
Until it's children they protect,
Family they don't neglect,
Fellow neighbors that they respect..

.....And most importantly of all,

with GOD, they connect.
